This Christmas instead of doing presents we went on a snow trip. We had so much fun!! We drove up to flagstaff. There was snow everywere! It was so cold. Haha! We got all our snow gear and were all ready to play in the snow the next day. That morning we got all dressed and warm and drove up to these really big hills. There were so many people sledding! It was to cold for me so I just drank hot chocolate and watched people go down the hills. It was alot of fun! The next day we drove to Cameron. We shopped around and and ate really yummy Navajo tacos. Then we drove to Utah. We stayed in this really nice victorian house. It was a bed and breakfast. It was beautiful. the next morning we woke up and it was snowing!!! It was the first time I had seen it snow. It was amazing! Haha I fell so many times. We were going to drive to Bryce Canyon but it was snowing so hard that we couldn't. Instead we drove back to flagstaff and played in the snow all day. It was so much fun. I am so happy I got to spend time with my family!

Band Concert

This Thursday I had a band concert. (I play the flute. I have played it for 4 years.) A couple weeks before the concert Mr. Murphy my band teacher came to me and asked me if I would play with choir. Of course I said yes. I practiced with the choir a couple times but I didn’t feel prepared at all. The day of the concert I was so scared because I wasn’t ready to play with them. We practiced a couple time before the concert and I did ok. I felt a little better because Mr. Murphy helped me with some of it. The band was first. We played 4 different songs and we did really well. After we played the orchestra did. They did really good. Finally it was the choirs turn. I went up to the stage and helped get everything set up. I was so scared. I think I did a pretty good job. i just messed up a couple of times times. When the concert was over all my friends said I did really well. I am so happy I got the opportunity to do something like this.

For thanksgiving we went to Mexico. It was so much fun!!! I love going, we go every year. we rode in my dads big bus it was so much fun. My sister got her hair braided. It was so cute. I love all the people their they are so nice.We also had a birthday party for me and one of the tour guides. We have a birthday their every year. It is so much fun!! I was so sad to leave it is so beautifull there.

Birthday

I’M 14!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I can’t believe it I am 14 already. This year went by so fast. For my birthday I went out to dinner. It was really yummy. I also got 40 dollars and makeup. I made my own birthday cake it was so yummy. It was an ice cream cake. At school all my friends sang to me at lunch it was really funny. I am so happy to be 14!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :)

LAYERED ICE CREAM CAKE

Makes a 9”x 13” Pan

24 Ice cream sandwiches

8 oz. Cool Whip™

1 Hershey’s™ chocolate syrup bottle

1 Smuckers™ caramel syrup bottle

2 king size Butterfinger™ candy bars chopped up

1st layer -12 ice cream sandwiches

2nd – half of whipped cream

3rd - half of Butterfinger™ bars, Squeeze 1/2 of caramel &chocolate over that.

4th - rest of ice cream sandwiches

5th – Cool Whip™

6th - rest of Butterfinger™, caramel & chocolate

You can freeze this and eat as desired! Yummy! Yummy!

Mutual

On Wednesday Ashlie invited me to go to her mutual with her. When I got their we had like an hour and a half until it started. She had started making cookies so I helped her finish. When we pulled them out of the oven they were stuck to the pan and u had to like chisel them off. I was laughing so hard. After that we took her little brother Cooper outside. Ashlie threw his toy car into the street and when we were going to go get it to real cars came and ran over it. Cooper was freaking out but the car was ok. Ashlie and walked down to the church and just hung out in the front until it started. Ashlie, Bailee, and I were in one car and we had to go to a neighborhood and pass out flyers. We had a lot of fun. After that we went to Ashlies house and hung out until my mom came to get me.

Car Crash

On Sunday we went to my grandma’s house and when we were inside we heard this really loud crash we ran outside and saw that this guy had hit our car. My mom went around going talk to the guy but he wasn’t there. She looked down the street and she saw the guy running. I was so scared. My aunt started chasing him. One of the kids in the neighborhood got up to him and he pulled out a gun!!! I was so scared I ran inside. We called the cops and they had a helicopter looking for him. They never found him though. Our car is totaled and we have to get a new one. It was a crazy day we didn’t get home until 2:00 AM. I am so glad know one got hurt.

On Tuesday Ashlie text me and asked me if I wanted to go to the movies with her. It was really fun! We saw Madagascar 2. After the movie we went to burger king with her mom. Katherine texted us and asked if we wanted to come over. Of course we said yes. It was a lot of fun we were playing with her dog maren. She is so cute!! Then we walked down to Barros pizza and got hot wings (they were actually medium.) Katherine was like beating me up it was really funny. Ashlie’s cousin was their and he was looking at us like we were some idiots. Haha it was really funny. After we ate and paid all we had was a million penny’s and dimes so we just left a huge pile of change for the tip. After, we walked all over Katherine’s neighborhood we went to one of our other friends house and were hanging out with her. Then we went back to Katherine’s house and were talking for like two hours. It was fun!! I was sad when I had to leave but I am glad we had a fun time.

Trunk or Treat

On Wednesday I went home with Ashlie. We got to her house and were just messing around. Bri came over and we started getting ready for Ashlie's ward Trunk or Treat. She was a candy corn. it was so cute. I was a nurse. (haha my mom was so jealous.) Bri was a fairy. she is so cute I love her!! ashlie's little brother cooper was bob the builder. he was so cute with all his little tools. at the trunk or treat we were just running around and eating candy. I was so happy to see one of my best friends Randon Carol their. he moved and I hadn't seen him in a long time. We were hanging out with Randon and Austin at the trunk or treat. they are so much fun!!! After we were running around ashlies neighborhood. We were trying to get on a roof and I couldnt get up it was so funny. Ashlie's brother Rigdon was trying to pick up his gold fish. it was so funny. he is the cutest kid. I love all my friends. I am so thankfull I have such good friends!!! :)

Kathrine's Birthday

Yesterday I went to one of my best friend’s house for her birthday. There were tons of people there. Me, Ashlie, and Paige, (my best friends ever) would get in the Jacuzzi and then we would jump in the freezing cold pool. It was so much fun. I was standing by the edge of the pool and Paige pushed me in. it was so cold. It was funny though. We were in the Jacuzzi and I tried to pick ashlie up because I was going to through her in the pool. But then I dropped her cause I slipped. It was so funny. I took a picture of my friend jakelle and it looked so freaky so she told me to send it to everyone. It was really funny. People kept texting back asking if it was jakelle. I was laughing my head off. Katherine got so mad because we were talking about Nolan in front of her parents. She is like in love with that boy. Ha! Ha! Katherine decided to scare some of the girls so she got a fake arm and it had like blood dripping down the hand it looked so gross. someone put on Heidi’s shoulder and she totally freaked out. It was so funny. After the party Paige and I went to ashlies house. It was so much fun we were on her computer looking up songs. It was fun. I am so glad I have such good friends.

My sister just had a birthday party. It was really fun. We went down to our pool and went swimming with a bunch of her friends. My mom and I decided we didn’t want to swim we would just supervise. Well it was really hot and mosquitoes were eating us up. I went over to the edge of the pool to put, my feet in and my mom pushed me in the pool, clothes and all. I was so mad but kind of happy cause the mosquitoes stayed away and I wasn’t so hot. Then my mom couldn’t handle it anymore so she jumped in with me. It was really funny.

A few weeks ago we had a really fun mutual. We did glamour shots. We gave each other makeovers, then we took pictures it was really fun!!!

Life

My life is going by so fast. I can’t believe it. Me and my friend were talking about what we wanted to be when we grow up, and we realized we don’t have very long till we are grown up and living our own lives. I only have 4 more years of school. (Not including college.) It’s really sad. My life is flying by. I am excited to get old, but I love being a kid and going to school. I love hanging with my friends and not having to worry about money. Hopefully I don’t grow up to fast!!!

Iceskating

Today I went iceskating with my friends Ashlie and Katherine. it was so much fun. when I was skating I was doing really good so I started going really fast and I tripped and fell right on my butt!!! It really hurt. But other than that I had a lot of fun
